Heka IQ
An automated football prediction platform designed for the African market that rewards tactical football IQ, provides community-based club hubs, and enables transparent pool-staking and cross-currency duels.
Problem
Football fan engagement in Nigeria is fragmented across risky sports betting, time-consuming fantasy leagues, and noisy WhatsApp chats, with no platform dedicated to recognizing genuine tactical skill or running transparent, peer-to-peer prediction challenges.
Solution
Developed an offline-first PWA and native mobile application using Next.js 15, Expo, and Supabase. The platform incorporates a proprietary Sphinx ML model (CatBoost) that users can challenge, custom fan hubs with real-time duels, local payments (Paystack), and an IndexedDB caching layer for optimal 3G loading performance.
